Lawrence W. Lobb Elected as Treasurer of the Saint Charles Education Foundation

Lawrence W. Lobb was recently elected as the Treasurer of the Saint Charles Education Foundation. He will begin serving in the capacity as Treasurer of the Foundation in July of 2019. Larry joined the Foundation as a Director in July of 2018, just after finishing six (6) years on the Board of Managers for the Kane County Bar Association, the last two (2) years of which he served as President and immediate past President.

The Saint Charles Education Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that supports educational excellence for the Saint Charles School District No. 303 through community awareness and encouraging involvement and philanthropy. The Foundation was formed in 1992 by a group of citizens who identified a need for funding teacher programs that exceeded the School District’s budget to support ongoing teacher projects and to encourage new ones to enhance educational opportunities and encourage educational excellence within the School District. Since 1992, the Foundation has provided in excess of $1.3 million dollars to fund teacher programs for the benefit of District 303 students. The foundation continues its ongoing fundraising efforts, holding an annual gala every year, providing grants, educational honorarium and college scholarships.
