Lawrence Lobb Joins Fox Valley Food for Health Board

The attorneys at the Drendel & Jansons law firm continue the rich tradition of involvement in the community. Our most recent news is that Lawrence (Larry) Lobb has joined the Board of Directors of Fox Valley Food for Health.

Fox Valley Food for Health is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization with a mission “to promote a nutrition focused community through teen education and serving those struggling with a health crisis”. Fox Valley Food for Health operates out of St. Charles, Illinois and is affiliated with the Ceres Community project.

Fox Valley Food for Health was the brainchild of Mary Fremgen and Susan Leigh. Mary Fremgen and Susan Leigh worked with the Drendel & Jansons Law Group to create the non-profit corporation in 2012 and apply for recognition of tax-exempt status with the IRS, which status was obtained in 2013. Since then Fox Valley Food for Health has grown into a vibrant non-profit organization that effectively serves the Fox Valley community.

Fox Valley Food for Health engages teens, training them to cook healthy, nutritious meals that are delivered free of charge to local families going through treatment for serious illness, such as cancer. Fox Valley Food for Health has a current home at the Kane County Fairgrounds kitchen where all of the meals are prepared.

Larry Lobb now joins the Board of Fox Valley Food for Health in a volunteer capacity, giving back to an organization that gives back to the community. We are proud of our attorneys’ commitment to community in the Drendel & Jansons Law Group and support Larry in his dedication to the community through participation in the leadership of Fox Valley Food for Health.
