Drendel Becomes Administer Justice Board Member

We are pleased to announce that Kevin G. Drendel has accepted a nomination and appointment to the Executive Board of Directors of Administer Justice. The term is for three years and begins immediately.

Administer Justice is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), tax exempt, legal aid organization. Since its creation in 2000, Administer Justice has served over 47,000 clients who could not otherwise afford legal help. Administer Justice serves clients who have financial need with preliminary advice, document assistance and pro bono representation.

Administer Justice helps people who could never afford to retain an attorney on their own but face significant legal issues that may debilitate them with no hope, but for the help from Administer Justice.

The services that Administer Justice provides in house includes tax controversy resolution, financial counseling, conflict resolution, free legal workshops advocacy and other things. Administer Justice finds private attorneys in the area to take on pro bono cases that Administer Justice staff cannot handle in-house, and Administer Justice partners with other agencies to see that clients get the help they need.

Administer Justice runs legal aid clinics in Aurora, Elgin, Oak Brook, South Barrington, St. Charles, West Chicago and West Dundee using staff attorneys out the Elgin office and volunteer, pro bono attorneys from the local communities.
