Jansons Participates in ABA Bar Leadership Institute

Jansons joined ABA President Linda A. Klein of Atlanta, GA and ABA President-Elect Hilarie Bass of Miami, FL in sessions on bar leadership, governance and communications.

Carolyn Jansons joined more than 330 other leaders of lawyer organizations from across the county at the American Bar Association’s Bar Leadership Institute (BLI) March 15-17, as the President-Elect of the Kane County Bar Association.

The BLI takes place annually in Chicago, offering incoming officials of local and state bar associations, special focus lawyer organizations and bar foundations the opportunity to confer with ABA officials, bar leader colleagues, executive staff and other experts on the operation of such associations.

The BLI is sponsored by the ABA Standing Committee on Bar Activities and Services and the ABA Division for Bar Services as part of the association’s long-standing goal of fostering partnerships with state and local bars and related organizations. Collaborating ABA entities included the Communications and Media Relations Division.

Jansons will be installed as the President of the Kane County Bar Association at the Annual Dinner which will be held on June 7, 2017 at Fisherman’s Inn, in Elburn.
